When Hetty Fox’s dear friend fails to greet Hetty at the Amtrak station, Hetty fears something is terribly wrong. Hetty knows her friend well. Failures aren’t her style, especially not when it’s something so routine as this. Meanwhile, Hetty’s new and annoying house guest, Andrew Peters, has accompanied Hetty to the Windy City.
He’s the alleged ghost of her college sweetheart.
Hetty had hoped to spend a week away from this annoying creature, yet here he is. Deep down, Hetty knows Andrew is only a figment of her imagination. Yet she finds him helpful enough when she’s tracking killers down. Will Andrew prove helpful again? Or will Hetty once again be on her own if he should finally disappear?
Anna Drake has enjoyed writing and telling stories since she was a child. In addition to the Hetty Fox series, she also writes a cozy mystery series featuring small-town reporter, Melanie Hart. When not writing, she is often found reading…especially mysteries. She says one of her greatest joys as a child was discovering a stash of Nancy Drew books in her parents' attic. Anna is the mother of three grown sons who have families of their own. Her other pursuits include gardening, quilting, and spending time with family and friends.
