In Search of Silver Linings

Middle Class Heroes is an anthology series of intimate character studies. Vol. One: In Search of Silver Linings focuses on two small groups of people, living in Washington state and another in New York City, and follows two main narrators in those groups, Liam and Aidan respectively, as they try to navigate the stormy seas of life, love, and friendships.

Liam’s once stable life in Auburn, Washington seems to be in shambles as his group of friends slowly falls apart around him while he desperately tries to fix it. It seems he must also come to grips with the fact that the girl he’s been in love with his whole life may never love him back. As things come crashing down, he tries to stay positive, searching for the silver lining.

Meanwhile, Aidan just lost his job. He walks down the streets of New York as he contemplates the legal and social ramifications that would transpire should he follow through with his plan to release a lion to take its toll on his old workplace. But his imaginings of revenge fade when he meets Clementine, the crazy British girl with crazy outfits and a crazy outlook on life. She soon takes him on an adventure he won’t soon forget, as she teaches him to always find the silver lining, and that some things in life are worth fighting for.

And although they don't know it, their lives are intertwined in a way neither could have ever imagined.
