Pronoun1 (referred to herein as “we” or “us”) respects your concerns about privacy. This Privacy Notice (“Notice”) applies to our website Pronoun.com and any other mobile application or interactive service that contains a linked authorized by us to this Notice (each a “Site”). By visiting or accessing Pronoun.com, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Notice. Your use of this Site is further governed by the Terms of Use.

We collect personal information when you give us permission.
When you sign up for an account on Pronoun, you voluntarily provide us with your name and email address, and password, aka personal information. We use the term “personal information” herein to mean any information or combination of information that we collect or use by or through our Site that identifies you personally.
You may also voluntarily provide us with personal and non-personal information in the manuscript that you upload onto the Site.
Later on, you may provide us with your PayPal account information to receive payment, if applicable.
You might also give us your Facebook or Twitter name so that we can help you promote your book.
We collect usage information when you access Pronoun.
As with most websites on the internet, some information gets created and recorded by us automatically when you access Pronoun.
This usage information includes information about your operating system, your IP addresses, device, browser type and language, referring and exit pages and URLs, date and time, what sections of the website you visit, how much time you spend on particular pages, information obtained from cookies that have been placed on your device or internet browser at our Site, demographic information, and aggregated information. We may supplement the information we collect from you with information we receive about you from other sources.
We may use cookies and pixel tags (also called web beacons or clear gifs) to collect usage information. The information we collect in this manner includes IP address, browser characteristics, device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, information on actions taken on our Site, and dates and times of Site visits.

We collect performance information when you publish on Pronoun.
When you publish on Pronoun, we will collect data about the performance of your ebooks, including but not limited to, number of ebooks sold, pricing and number of reviews received.
We do not collect information from children under 13.
This Site is not intended for use by anyone under the age of thirteen, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of thirteen.
If you are under the age of thirteen, please do not use this Site or submit any information. If you are under the age of 18, please review this Notice with your parent or guardian before submitting any information to us.
When warranted, we may use your personal, usage, and performance information to create and manage your account, offer and provide products, services and information to you, communicate with you to respond to your requests, questions or comments, send you updates, pay you money, enable you to participate in promotions, contests, or sweepstakes, interact with your social media accounts, operate, evaluate and improve our business, perform data analyses and other processing, protect against, identify and prevent fraud and other criminal activity, claims and other liabilities, and comply with and enforce applicable legal requirements, relevant industry standards and our policies.

However, we are not responsible for the actions of such third party as it pertains to information that is shared with or by such third party which shall be governed by such third party’s own privacy policies.

We use your information to improve Pronoun.
We may use your personal, usage, and performance information to make Pronoun better. Your information helps us understand how we can improve our offerings.
We may combine your information with others’ in a form that does not identify anyone personally, and we may share such aggregate data (in blog posts, presentations, etc.) to educate and inform.

Our Site uses two kinds of cookies: session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies exist only for as long as your browser remains open. Once you close your browser, they are deleted. Persistent cookies, in contrast, last beyond each visit to the Site and remain on your hard drive after you close your browser.
