Unpublish on some or all distribution channels

Authors can stop selling their books through Pronoun at any time, for any reason. Here’s how to remove your book from some or all distribution channels:

1. Log in to Pronoun
2. Click Edit Book
3. Click the three dots in the top right (next to “Exit”)
4. Click Remove from a Retailer
5. Select some or all retailers and click Remove

Your book will go offline shortly, usually within a few business days.

To unpublish a book that hasn’t gone live on all of your selected distribution channels yet, please email publish@pronoun.com.

Once your book has been removed from a retailer, you’re welcome to republish your book there yourself. The .epub and .mobi files created on our platform are yours to keep and use, regardless of whether you publish on Pronoun.

Removing books from Amazon:
All books published on Pronoun must be actively distributed to Amazon, either through our platform or other means, such as your own KDP account. You can stop Pronoun distribution to Amazon by removing your book from all retailers on our platform. Once you’ve published your book on Amazon, you can re-publish your book on Pronoun and distribute to the other channels.

You can follow these steps to delete a book-in-progress:

1. Log in to Pronoun
2. Click Edit & Publish
3. Click the three dots in the top right (next to “Exit”)
4. Click Delete This Book
