Wherever you’d put a retailer link in your book, we recommend using a Pronoun Book Page link instead. When you publish, we’ll work our magic so the Pronoun Book Page links in your distributed ebook files automatically go to the retailer your reader uses.
For example, if someone buys your book on Kobo, the Pronoun Book Page links inside will go to Kobo product pages. If someone buys your book on Amazon, those same Pronoun Book Page links will go to Amazon product pages. (If we can’t find the book on that retailer for any reason, the link will actually go to the Pronoun Book Page.)
Please note that links to Pronoun Book Pages in your non-published ebook files (the ones you download from the platform) will always actually go to Pronoun Book Pages. Retailer links are only added after you publish, when we send the book to retailers.
You can follow these steps to get the link to your Pronoun Book Page:
Once you add this link to your ebook files, you’re all set! In your published book, this link will automatically take readers to the book’s product page on their preferred retailer.
If your book is published on some retailers separately from Pronoun, this feature still works if your ISBN is the same.
When creating your Pronoun Book Page, we automatically search for your ISBN on every retailer. Even if your book isn’t published somewhere through Pronoun, if you always use the same ISBN, we’ll usually find the other listings and add those retailer links to your Pronoun Book Page.
This feature works for all URLs shown on your Pronoun Book Page. For example, if your book is not published to B&N through Pronoun, but has the same ISBN there and appears on your Pronoun Book Page, we’ll be able to direct B&N readers to that listing.
