If you remove your book from sale and then republish it through Pronoun, here’s what will happen on each retailer:
Amazon reviews generally carry over to the new listing automatically. If they haven’t transferred after a week, you can email publish@pronoun.com with your book’s former and current ASINs, and we’ll contact Amazon.
Your book’s Amazon rank will be reset, and its URL and ASIN will change. You might need to re-add your book to your Amazon Author Page once it’s live. (Please email publish@pronoun.com if Amazon requires Macmillan or Holtzbrinck Publishers to verify your email address.)
If you publish a print book, fill out the “Print ISBN” field on Pronoun, and Amazon should automatically link it to your ebook after a few days. If the print and digital formats haven’t linked up after a week, you can follow these instructions on Amazon.
If your book is part of a series, note that Amazon will only create a series page if the entire series is published through Pronoun. (They won’t create a series page unless all books in the series are distributed through the same platform.)
Barnes & Noble reviews will automatically transfer to the new Pronoun-published listing. Your book’s sales rank will be reset, and its URL will change.
Kobo reviews do not carry over. Your book’s sales rank will be reset and its URL will change. (Kobo is currently working on supporting the transfer of reviews and hopes to support it in the future.)
iBooks reviews do not carry over. Your book’s sales rank will be reset and its URL will change.
Google Play reviews do not carry over, and your book’s URL will change.
